These Terms govern your use of the WalkCoins app and website operated by [WalkCoins Company Pvt. Ltd.]. By using WalkCoins you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What WalkCoins is (and is not)

WalkCoins is a free loyalty and rewards program that recognises physical activity. It is not a game of chance, not a real-money game, not gambling, and not an investment or income opportunity. You never pay, deposit, or stake money to participate, and there is no cash withdrawal. Coins are loyalty points with no monetary value (see Reward & Redemption Terms).

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and resident in India (at launch). You must use a genuine device and your own verified mobile number. One account per person and per device.

3. Earning & rewards

Coins are earned from your steps at a published rate and may be redeemed for rewards as described in the Reward & Redemption Terms. Rewarded ads, spins, and streaks grant Sparks, an in-app-only currency with no external value. Watching ads is always optional and never required to earn or redeem coins.

4. Fair use & anti-fraud

You agree not to:

  • Spoof, fake, inject, or automate steps (e.g. shaking devices, mock-location, bots, auto-walkers).
  • Use rooted/jailbroken devices, emulators, or tampering tools to manipulate the app.
  • Create multiple accounts, abuse referrals, or collude to extract rewards.
  • Interfere with the app's security or attempt to defraud the rewards system.

We validate steps server-side and may cap, withhold, reverse, or void coins and reward, and suspend or terminate accounts, where we reasonably detect fraud or abuse. High-value or suspicious redemptions may be held for review.

5. Coins are not money

Coins and Sparks are non-transferable, non-tradeable, and have no cash or monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred between users, or exchanged for cash, and may expire after a stated period of inactivity. We may adjust future earning rates and reward availability, but we will not reduce the redemption value of coins you have already earned.

6. In-app purchases

Optional in-app purchases (e.g. cosmetic items or Spark boosts) may be offered through the app stores. These are for in-app enjoyment only, do not increase the cash value of any reward, and are subject to the app store's purchase terms.

7. Service changes & availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Step tracking depends on your device and OS (including HealthKit / Health Connect) and on device manufacturers' battery settings, which we do not control; we reconcile counts when the app is opened.

8. Termination

You may stop using WalkCoins and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Unredeemed coins are forfeited on account closure.

9. Disclaimers & liability

WalkCoins is a wellness-motivation and rewards product, not medical advice; consult a professional before changing your activity levels. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our liability is limited as set out here.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at [city] having jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-protection rights.
